What is Lepidolite?

Lepidolite is a lithium-rich mica mineral composed primarily of potassium, lithium, aluminum, and silicate. It belongs to the mica group, giving it its signature pearly shimmer and layered structure. Its beautiful lavender, lilac, pink, and cream colors come from traces of manganese within the mineral.

How does Lepidolite form?
